Short version: we only use what you send us to reply.
This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and carries no advertising trackers. If you write to us, we use your message to answer it, and for nothing else.
Who we are
wducks.com is run by Wild Duck Technology Services Pty Ltd (ABN 72 610 163 347) of New South Wales, Australia. “Wild Ducks” is the short name we use. For anything about your personal information, write to [email protected].
What we collect
- When you use the contact form: your name, email address, the topics you select and your message.
- When you email us: whatever you choose to include.
- When you visit: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes your IP address and standard request information to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse. We do not profile visitors or combine this with anything else.
The contact form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person is sending the message. It processes browser and device signals for that purpose only and does not set tracking cookies.
Why we use it
To reply to you, to discuss the work you have in mind, and to keep the contact form free of spam. We do not add you to mailing lists, and we never sell or rent personal information.
Where it goes
Messages from the form are delivered to our business email. Our hosting and email providers may store or process data outside Australia, including in the United States and the European Union. We choose providers with appropriate security and contractual privacy protections.
How long we keep it
We keep correspondence for as long as it is useful for the conversation and for our business records, and delete it on request unless the law requires us to keep it.
Cookies
None. The site does not set cookies or use browser storage to follow you, so there is no cookie banner to dismiss.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have rights under the GDPR; we rely on our legitimate interest in answering your enquiry, or on steps you ask us to take before a contract.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, tell us first. If we cannot resolve it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear here with a new date. See also the legal notices.
